Mentor for the Ocean (MO) is a social impact mentoring and consultancy initiative to support the work of the Bangladesh Centre for Ocean Law and Policy (BCOLP)
About the Initiative
Mentor for the Ocean is a purpose-driven program where all proceeds from academic mentoring, career advising, and research consultancy sessions are donated directly to support BCOLP's work in promoting ocean governance and sustainable maritime development in the Bay of Bengal.
This initiative is led by Dr Abdullah-Al Arif, Founder and Director of BCOLP, and is open to students, early-career professionals, and researchers seeking:
Academic mentoring and feedback
Advice on higher studies and career planning
PhD proposal and CV reviews
Guidance on research, publishing, and public impact

100% of the amount goes to BCOLP to support workshops, student competitions, and policy initiatives.
